The Proactiv Solution is among the top selling acne products on the market. It features a three step process to control acne.
Here’s how Proactiv works;
• Step one is the Renewing Cleanser that exfoliates dead skin cells and allows benzoyl peroxide to penetrate pores.
• Step two is the Revitalizing Toner, which soothes skin and removes pore-clogging impurities.
• Step three is the Repairing Lotion that hydrates and deeply penetrates skin to stop acne at its source.
Our Take:
Proactiv is probably the most well known acne products as it is heavily marketed with well known celebrites such as Jessica Simpson, Kelly Clarkson, and Brook Shields. The problem is that the synthetic materials often dry out the skin. For severve acne suffers, proactiv doesn’t work that well as it is missing the internal component of other top brands.
